Privacy Policy

This website belongs to Marrickville Martial Arts Club, 201–203 Victoria Road, Marrickville NSW 2204. You can reach us at info@marrickvillemartialartsclub.com.au or on 0468 253 270.

• The details you choose to send us through the contact form (see below).
• This website has no user accounts and doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. It doesn't set cookies of its own.
• Like any website, the service that hosts it (Netlify) receives standard technical information when a page loads, such as your IP address and browser type, so the site can be delivered and kept secure.

The form asks for your name, email address, phone number and message. Choosing a program of interest is optional.

• When you press send, your details go over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to this website's server. The server checks them and sends them as a single email to the club's inbox at info@marrickvillemartialartsclub.com.au, using the club's email service.
• The website doesn't keep a copy of your message or store it in a database. It isn't added to the club's booking or membership system.
• To stop spam and repeated sending, the form includes a hidden field that only automated programs fill in, and the server briefly keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address in its temporary memory. That is never written to storage or logs, and isn't used for anything else.
• When a message is sent, the page records a "message sent" event in your browser. No analytics service is connected to this website, so that event doesn't leave your browser and contains none of your details.

We use the details you send only to read and reply to your enquiry. Enquiries arrive in the club’s email inbox, where the club reads them and replies by email, or by phone if that’s easier.

Sending a message doesn’t sign you up to any email or SMS marketing, and the form doesn’t ask for marketing consent.

Some pages connect to services run by other companies. When you use them, those companies handle your information under their own privacy policies.

• GymMaster runs the club’s bookings, free trial sign-up, memberships and member login. The Timetable page shows GymMaster’s live schedule, which loads from GymMaster. Anything you enter when booking or signing up goes to GymMaster.
• Google Maps is embedded on the home, About and Contact pages. Loading the map connects your browser to Google.
• Links to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp and Google reviews open those services’ own websites or apps.

To ask what personal information we hold about you, or to correct it, email info@marrickvillemartialartsclub.com.au or call 0468 253 270. For information held in your GymMaster member account, you can also log in to GymMaster, or ask us.
